Me, B amd my dad have been out in the fields for 'an adventure' today. It was absolutely a welly day!

Tonight after work and school, me and B collected this keyboard from a friend who was giving it away. B was thrilled and sang his heart out!

These 4 songs will be the final ones I sing with the Meadway Singers at a concert on 14th February. The end of an era for me that has lasted 7.5 years.

So tonight for the first time since injuring my foot at class 8 years ago, I am back tap dancing. I am nervous and excited in equal measure!

Little Matthew was one today and we went along to celebrate. Jelly was the order of the day and was enjoyed by many of the small people!

We took B swimming this morning. He has only been in the water a couple of times before as he hated it! However this time it was a success. He refused to smile so this is the best of a bad lot!

I helped my friend's daughter to get her cakes to the Cake International competition at Event City in Manchester. Turns out I had a car full of award winning cakes as Flick won 1 silver and 2 gold awards including a 2nd overall in show. Fantastic! Her mum brought me this cake in today to say thank you! So thoughtful.

I love my musicals. I have a collection of well over 100 different ones, probably closer to 200 if I am honest! However I don't get to see as many as I would like at the Theatre so have to wait until they come on tour mostly. Today's free music (thanks to a cashback voucher) is Book Of Mormon. I can't wait to listen to it but have to wait until B is in bed as it is a naughty one!

Tonight was parents evening so after a long day I returned home at 7.45, over 12 hours after I left. Ben was sound asleep when I got in. I do love watching him sleep. I have never tired of it since the day he was born. I have missed him today though.

Tonight saw my final rehearsal at choir. I have a concert on Saturday then that is it. My time is up. I don't feel right being there without Joe our conductor who passed away in January and it is a long way for me now I have moved. I will really miss it. It has been part of my life for 7.5 years now. Thank you Meadway Choirs. I have some amazing memories to thank you for.

So after what has felt like a very long 6 weeks at school and my second tap class (still going well) I am more than ready to lay my head here tonight!

Tonight I put on my choir uniform for the final time. We had a concert tonight and I found it all rather emotional. I managed to hold it together until I got in my car at the end and then cried all the way home! 7.5 years and some fabulous memories.

B has two sides to him at the moment; the dancer and the school boy! He loves dancing to music videos, Up Town Funk and YMCA are his favourites. He also has a real love of writing and phonics at the moment too. All this makes for a fun boy!

Today is the first real day of half term. I have loved having a lazy day with B. He wanted to take photos so here they are!

One poorly boy today 😦 He NEVER sleeps in the day but 90 minutes and counting right now.

Today 3 of Ben's classmates came to play. They were all very good and I got to chat with 2 of their mums and have baby cuddles with 2 little ones. Lovely. This is what Ben's room looked like once they had all gone home.

A day of ups and downs and 4 seasons in one day! Today saw Ben's swimming lesson. Before we set off it was snowing. By the time we got to the leisure centre it had stopped but when we got out again it was once again snowing! Sun filled the majority of the rest of the day, though it clearly rained while we were watching the fab 'Big Hero 6'.

My dad has bought a tractor. He is a very happy man. This also led to a very excited grandchild when he found out he could have a turn in the cabin with grandad! Here they are together. I love the relationship they have.

My inlaws' dog, Jip sadly was put to sleep on Saturday. She was such a loving dog, who loved nothing better than snuggling up next to you on the settee. I will never forget her puzzled expression when she got kicked by Ben when he was still a bump! She loved her food and would wait forever for something from you. I hope she's having fun and reunited with Boo, her window buddy for many years. Good bye Jip.

Mia is Joe's cousin. She is a lovely girl who I have always enjoyed being around. Ben loves her too.

What is more fun when you are four years old than a disco bath?
